Thanks Mike! I just now got the image files in the theme straight. Now if I can figure out how to load my Judith & Holoferns image in the corner somewhere…you wouldn’t be able to help me with that, would ya, buddy’o'mine?
Looking Bee-you-tiful! I knew you could do it, and would surely be glad if you did.
Watch your e-mail. I’m sending a list of plug-ins I’ve found extremely useful and reliable. I hope some or all will be helpful to you, too.
To get your photo up in the far right, or on one of the sidebard, go to the Dashboard, look for the Appearance item. Click it so the drop down menu opens. Click on Widgets.
At your Widgets page, depending on how your theme is set up, you probably have on the right three bars that say something like “Wide sidebar” or “sidebar double” and then bars that say “sidebar 1″ and “sidebar 2″ or “sidebar left” and “sidebar right. Usually, the wide or double sidebar is a container that holds the left and right or No. 1 and No. 2 sidebars.
Look down on the Widget page and find the widget bar marked “text.” Click on “sidebar 2″ to open it. Grab the text widget and slide it up to sidebar 2. Then click to open the widget you just relocated. Enter the URL for your photo into it. It might help to use an onscreen pixel ruler to find the width you need, but you might be able to get it by experimenting.
This is more like it Beekeeper. I can see everything with the bright white background. And unlike many Wordpress sites, this one doesn’t foul up my computer.
lets see if the comments work
Yo Bee! Looks like Word Press to me
Thanks Mike!
